As the name implies, this rifle is bad news for varmints. The stock shape is derived from the same roots as the Serengeti Hunter. Here also, one can have high wide combs, with or without rollover, for long-term cheek support while burning through those bricks of ammo. Particularly useful for large, big objective scopes. The beavertail forend is made to order. Want it wide - as in the accompanying photo? Or not so wide? Again, glad to oblige.
The Red Mist is based on M1999 short actions in both right and left hand, stainless and chrome-moly. Barrels by Montana Rifleman, you pick the specs and chambering.
This shape seems to leave no middle ground. Love it or hate it, it's an answer for some folks. For those who must have a classic shape, look to our Merlin and ask us to build a wide forend on one of those. Also available in a Mannlicher-style stock.
